Ninjaman Warns LA Lewis To Stop Dating His Gay Son

Comedian and Dancehall Entertainer LA Lewis has hired a lawyer to begin legal proceedings against fellow entertainers, Desmond ‘Ninjaman’ Ballentine and Christopher ‘Dr Love’ Crooks.

The legal action stems over a picture being circulated over the Internet which suggests an intimate relationship between Lewis and Ninja’s allegedly gay son who is known as ‘Spuggy’.

Ninja has since ignored all threats made by Lewis to sue for approximately $25,000,000 and has continued to verbally bash the viral star in a recently uploaded video.

The ‘Don Gargon’ made it clear that Lewis should “Stop f#c.k Spuggy”, his son and offered his friendly advice that the “social media god” should quit his alleged homosexual lifestyle before its too late.

Lewis has since fired back at Ninja on social media with a picture in comparison of the ‘Don Gargon’ and a Horse and the legal documents outlining the details of the lawsuit against the entertainers.

Little Girl Shot In Kingston, Jamaica

A little girl was rushed to hospital on Wednesday afternoon after she was shot and injured by gunmen in West Kingston.

Police reports circulating are that the child was travelling along Beeston Street when she was caught in the middle of a brazen daylight stand off between members from rival gangs.

“The man them a shoot off a each other and the little girl was shot and injured in the cross fire,” said a source from the area.

The Head of the Police Division has since confirmed the reports. Police have launched a search for those responsible.

West Kingston residents, in past weeks, have been left living in fear because of constant infighting among criminal gangs, according to the police.

In the last two months, more than five people have been shot and injured in the community.

Gully Bop’s Girlfriend Gets BASHED For Her Interview

Some say she’s a ‘gold digger’ some say she’s a ‘mad woman’. That’s the latest buzz on social media ever since Gully Bop‘s girlfriend A’Mari posted her recent interview for CVM TV’s program D’Wrap.

The up-coming artiste is currently been bashed for being an alleged opportunist and a schizophrenic with multiple personalities disorder. This was a result of her many videos with each one contradicting herself.

A’Marie posted several videos expressing her undying love for Bop then in her most recent interview she was heard describing the “every gyal want a wuk offa me” artiste as being a “Slumbag’. She then went on to say that ‘He having 1 teeth.. he gives a worsa bite than a mosquito” and that if she had known about his ways she would have sided with Shauna Chin. 

To put the icing on the cake A’Marie also stated that “Bop definitely knows how to eat meat with 1 tooth”. This has caused a major upset for fans of Bop who urged him to dismiss her before she ruins his public image and career.

Miss Kitty Issues Apology In The Form Of A Letter

According to ZipFM’s website, media personality Khadine “Miss Kitty” Hylton has issued an official apology for the incident with herself and Yanique Barrett on the live television program Magnum King & Queen of Dancehall.

It had been previously announced that both Miss Kitty and Yanique would offer their sincere apologies on Saturday April 9th, to the viewers for their distasteful conduct on live television.

HER APOLOGY READS AS FOLLOWS:

“Following the verbal exchanges last Saturday, April 2 during the live broadcast of the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall competition and reaction by members of the public, I would like to use this medium to address the matter and clarify the issues.

It was being said in the media that there was a problem or “beef” between the hostess and myself. I had no such “beef” and was surprised to see and hear this being said. I realized that this “beef” was being orchestrated in the media with the intent of stirring unwanted controversy. It is very important to note that I wanted to have no part in any such contrived spectacle for cheap popularity.

During my years in media and entertainment I have worked assiduously to build my career and brand based on genuine accomplishments and my God-given talents. In an effort to protect those accomplishments and to “clear the air” I addressed the contrived issues during the said live broadcast. Although I tried to deal with the issue decently, on reflection I admit that it was not the appropriate place to mention the matter. I chose it because the matter was raised during the live show the previous week by one of the competition’s judges and felt that I had to address it on the same “stage”.

I would like to apologize sincerely to the show’s organisers, the sponsors (Television Jamaica (TVJ), KFC, Magnum and Digicel), the artiste Shemdon after whose performance I raised the issue, the fans and last but by no means least, the viewing public.

In closing, I would also like to thank my team and the people of Jamaica for their continued support throughout the years including the past few days… so big up oonu good clean self and help me buss a Miss Kitty blank… Lalalalala…. because a progress me say!”

Spice Gyrates On A Male Patron And Caused Leg Injuries

Female dancehall artiste Spice who has been known for pushing the envelop while on stage is now trending for her recent stunt where a male volunteered to lift her off her feet while she ‘whined’ on him.

Her much talked about performance where a brave male patron decided to lift the not so petite artiste and balance her mid-air while she gyrated to her hit single “so me like it” has gone viral. The notably muscular man effortlessly lifted Spice and put on quite a performance which sent the crown into a frenzy with cheers of approvals and excitement.

But it seemed all the praises may have gotten the man a bit too excited.  He then decided to “show off” a bit and attempted to manoeuvre the bulky entertainer in the air but failed miserably, sending them both to the ground.

After the cheers subsided, the male was seen hopping off-stage in a fashion which suggested that he may have injured his legs.

We are unsure if at this point he is doing OK.

Fans say Miss Kitty Apology, “NOT ACCEPTED!”

Following the recent feud with Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall’s host Yanique Barrett (Curvy Diva) and the female judge Khadine Hylton (Miss Kitty) on Saturday April 2, 2016, there has been an ongoing discussion from the viewers, fans and almost the entire diaspora of Jamaica. Both characters were instructed to offer sincere apologies on Saturday, April 9, 2016 to the viewers for their distasteful conduct on live television.

Miss Kitty, who verbally attacked the Curvy Diva on the prominent show, has followed through with the instruction to offer an apology but did so in the form of a letter before the slated date. In her letter with a ‘boasty’ tone, she was somewhat still peeved over the act, of which she claimed that she had no intention of being a part of such controversy. Within that letter, she mentioned that she was apologizing to the show’s organizers, the sponsors (TVJ, KFC, Magnum and Digicel), the artiste Shemdon (the performer who was supposed to be judged), the fans and the viewing public but ironically, there was no mention of the Curvy Diva whom she attacked. This, for some, clearly means that she still has ‘beef’ or ‘bad blood’ with Yanique.

For this cause, the viewers and fans are disgruntled at this letter of apology. Some are of the view that the embarrassment was done publicly, hence the apology should also be done publicly. One viewer commented – ‘A search for yanique name but it lost…she could come on magnum kings and queens and apologize not in no letter that’s not acceptable…and I can see there is really a beef all now she don’t apologize to yanique.’ Another comment in support of the public apology was ‘she should apologize to yanique out in the media…as she no cheap.’

Some viewers described Miss Kitty’s behaviour as a sketel and childish move and argued that she should have known better. Furthermore, the letter is also deemed unacceptable because she was at famous night club defaming Yanique saying ‘mi ago done yanique’.

In addition, some fans are of the view that Miss Kitty is self-centered and is still focusing on her accomplishments and fame, hence she is embarrassed, and that is why she issued the apology but to some, it was not sincere because it did not include the person whom she publicly humiliated. She was described as being fake- ‘…this just look like a carefully crafted media career apology and not from the heart’, and no humility was expressed in the letter.

The fans are still angry and advised that it is better to think first before putting things in the public and being that she boasted so much about her education and accomplishments, she should have conducted herself in a better manner and express a real letter of apology and better yet, a sincere apology in the same forum where the behaviour was expressed.

LA Lewis Threatens to CHOP Ninjaman With A Machete

It seems that Ninjaman may have caused hurt to LA Lewis’ feelings after he made a public announcement that his son “Spuggy” and Lewis allegedly had a romantic relationship and even once shared an apartment together.

A very angry Lewis was seen in a video uploaded on-line with a machete in one hand and a file in the other, while he launched several threats against the ‘Don Gargon’.

Lewis was heard saying “Ninjaman… me ago chop di p@@syole” while an unknown man with a knapsack indicated “a dis we fi take guh fi him eno” while pointing to his bag. A gesture which would leave most to assume that a gun gun was inside, after which Lewis said “me not even waan shoot di p@@sy”. While an elderly rasta-man attempted to bring calm to the situation.

This maybe another one of LA Lewis’ ploy to gain the attention of social media but such antics can only cause further damage to an already deteriorating moral standards of Jamaica’s society.

We are unsure if the police with be investigating the matter.

Vybz Kartel Responds To Chronixx

Chronixx raised a lot of eyebrows in dancehall last week when he called Vybz Kartel a cannibal. The reggae singer was speaking during an interview with Vice’s Noisey Jamaica when he made the scathing statement about the incarcerated dancehall hitmaker.

A rep for Kartel allegedly told the staff of blog website Urban Islandz that the deejay simply brushed it off when he heard the news, referring to Chronixx as just another local artist using his name for publicity.

“Chronixx had no reason to make such statement about Vybz Kartel because they never met, never spoke to each other, and have never worked together,” Kartel’s reps said. “Clearly he is just another badmind artist using the artist name to get some sort of hype and publicity.”

During his Noisey interview, the “Here Comes Trouble” singer did point out that Vybz Kartel did a lot of good but still lost his way and became what he calls a “cannibal.”

“Vybz Kartel himself has done a lot of good things in life, I must say,” Chronixx said. “Gangsterism, cannibalism… because Kartel overtime became a cannibal. When you listen to his music it is very cannibalistic.”

Man With Massive Tumor Needs Your Help

For over a year now, a massive tumor has grown on the left side of Jermaine Barrett’s face, and it has been a source of great physical and emotional pain for the 26-year-old and his family from Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica.

“Sometimes I will go around kids and they run from me. My nieces and nephews don’t even recognise me, anymore. When they see me they run and cry, so it pains [my] heart,”

He said he has relocated from his mother’s house because the sight of his face spiritually and physically upsets her.

“Her blood pressure raises every time she sees me, so I had to move in with my sister and cousin for my mother’s well being.”

Jermaine’s only ease from the excruciating pain is continuous sleep.

So far, local doctors have been unable to agree on a diagnosis and treatment for the abnormal growth, so Barrett feels his only hope is to go overseas to seek medical attention.

“Doctors had me do full body scan, a MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan, CT (Computerised Tomography) scan, all sort of tests. They started radiation, then I did chemotherapy, but that didn’t work. They tried everything to shrink it and it hasn’t worked. Some are saying it’s cancerous. Some are saying it’s just normal tumour,”

Jermaine believes his affliction might have been triggered by some mishap by overseas dentists who had come to Jamaica to offer free services in 2008.

“I [had them extract] a tooth and from that day I have a little swelling in the roof of my mouth. I took antibiotics and it [swelling] didn’t go down, so I thought probably it was supposed to be there so I just left it,”

He ignored the swelling until January last year, when he noticed another bulge just below his left eye. Barrett, who was employed as a chef, assumed the swelling was caused from his constant interaction with heat and cold.

“I went to the eye doctor and they gave me eye drops for it but it, didn’t get better. When the eyedrops finish I went back to the doctor, they told me I have to do a CT scan because my eye look like it’s pushing forward,”

Since that time, Jermaine has made countless visits to specialists in St James and Kingston, but to no avail.

BEFORE THE TUMOR

He was the primary income provider for his family, but his illness has prevented him from working so there is no finacial method to get medication or any mediacal care.

“I would really appreciate some help because I’ve tried everything. Only thing I could do now is just pray and ask God to work some miracle because I don’t know where else to turn,”

“I get so sick, sometimes I can’t really swallow because my throat is so swollen. I can’t breathe through my nose, I can’t smell anything, so I have to be breathing through my mouth. I have difficulty seeing sometimes in the sick eye. Sometimes a lot of water run from the other eye,”

Jermaine is fearful that the abnormal growth will start affecting his brain if he does not receive immediate medical attention overseas and is hoping for assistance.

Kitty & Yanique Issues Apology

Media personalities Miss kitty and Yanique Barrett issued their public apology on the popular Dancehall show Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall this Saturday

Miss Kitty was suspended for three shows and Yanique got suspended from this weeks airing of the hit talent search program, Magnum Kings and Queens of dancehall for their verbal spat live on TVJ.

A pre-recording of Kitty & Yanique’s apology was aired just before the starting of this weeks program which featured both diva’s side by side reciting what seemed to be a rehearsed / scripted performance.

Nevertheless, it was really a wonderful sight seeing both women dropping the “manufactured beef” and coming together for the sake of the viewers and sponsors of the program.

“It’s not about us” said Yanique & Kitty who went on to say “It’s about the program that showcases up and coming talented individuals who want to be given a chance at stardom.” “We apologise to them, and to you personally. And we apologise to all the persons in the media and women in particular.”

“And most of all we apologise to TVJ (Television Jamaica) and its viewers for the incident,”.

Ninjaman Talks About His Gay Son On-Stage

Dancehall superstar Ninjaman decided to clear the air about his much talked about gay son “Spuggy” who has been trending since he was spotted driving a car filled with orange-clad openly gay men who declared their homosexuality during a PNP motorcade.

During his interview with Winford Williams on the hit entertainment program On Stage TV, Ninja attempted to explain the role he played as a father and why Spuggy’s decision to choose a life of homosexuality wasn’t a fault of his own. He also talked about the ‘beef’ with LA Lewis and the relationship which he shared with his son.

In the interview, “Don Gargan” gave his opinions on most of the trending topics since the start of 2016 which included the Yanique & Miss Kitty saga and Gully Bop And A’Mari‘s new relationship.

Dexta Daps Involved In A Car Accident

Recording Artiste Dexta Daps was this morning (Mon) involved in a traffic accident in Saint Catherine.

Reports from ZipFM are that the artiste is fine after only receiving a few bruises. Details on the accident have not yet been ascertained however, the vehicle Dexta was in, is said to been written off.

Dexta had recently returned to the island following overseas stints.

Aidonia Involved In Car Accident

Dancehall artiste Aidonia and members of his entourage 4th Genna, were involved in a motor vehicle accident last night.

Information is still being gathered, but it is understood that the DeeJay was travelling along Braco in Trelawny when a tire blew on one of the vehicles sending it crashing into the opposite side of the road.

According to eyewitnesses on the scene, the “1Voice” entertainer was seen taking control of the situation by co-coordinating the efforts to get all the badly injured parties to the hospital in a timely manner.

We are unsure if the artiste suffered any serious injuries. More as the story develops.

Beenie Man’s Girlfriend Krystal Should Replace Yanique?

The recent airing of the hit talent search program aired on Saturday night was graced with a new host – Krystal Tomlinson. 

Krystal was announced as the person who would host the show for the night after both Yanique & Miss Kitty got suspended for their outburst live on the show the previous week.

Tomlinson is no stranger to the spot light as she is the current host of the entertainment program E-Prime aired on Television Jamaica’s (TVJ). She was also recently announced to be the new love interest of the self proclaimed “Girls dem sugar” Beenie Man.

Dancehall artiste Pamputtae was announced as one of the judges for the night to replace Miss Kitty while DJ Sunshine was introduced as a guest judge.

After the show was aired on Saturday, fans went in hard on social media with their views that the apology issued by both the Diva’s were fake, rehearsed and lacked a genuineness that was expected and hyped up by the promoters days before. As such, some angry viewers demanded that they be permanently replaced due to the fact that Krystal did an excellent job on her first attempt and that the previous host was not missed.

Woman Calls Digicel To Have Her Boyfriend Contacts Blocked

A voice recording of a Jamaican woman making some very peculiar request from a Digicel customer care representative has now gone viral.

In the over 2 minutes long audio file leaked on-line, the obviously frustrated woman “Kereen” was heard asking the female customer care rep ‘Judith’ how to conceal her phone number when making calls. She explained “whenever i’m calling my boyfriend phone he’s not answering the phone… i want to know how to private”.

The rep then proceeded to give the steps needed to mask one’s identity when making a call, after which the woman later asked “can you tell me how to private please call me?… that he won’t know i’m calling and call me back!”.

Being disappointed that “please call me” are not able to be private as advised by the rep, Kereen then went on to explain “i go into the phone right… i saw 30 contacts and i write down the 30 a dem… and i call the 30 of them… 29 of dem were girls… so i have those numbers… can i give you those numbers and yuh block dem?”.

Diana King BLAST Jamaicans Over Their Homophobia

Singer-songwriter Diana King recently blasted Jamaica’s attitude towards homosexuals once again in a series of tweets.

The 45-year-old ‘Shy Guy’ singer took to Twitter on Wednesday to say “Jamaica is tolerant of Rape, sexual abuse of children even incest but not of sex between consenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender adults.”

In 2012, King declared on her Facebook page that she was a lesbian, much to the attention of Jamaicans, with a number of persons reacting in a positive manner.

She is the first Jamaican  artiste to publicly declare a same sex preference.

Last year King used social media to fight back at a former fan’s comment that she was a “dutty (dirty) lesbian,” in her response she said Blacks, Christians, Jamaicans and Africans are hateful.

LA Lewis & His Lawyer Talks Ninjaman Lawsuit

Entertainer LA Lewis has hired a lawyer to begin legal proceedings against fellow entertainers, Desmond ‘Ninjaman’ Ballentine and Christopher ‘Dr Love’ Crooks.

The legal action stems over a picture disseminated over the Internet which suggests an intimate relationship between Lewis and Ninjaman’s allegedly gay son who is known as ‘Spuggy’.

A letter, written by Hannah Harris-Barrington, senior solicitor-at-law, gave the two artistes seven days to retract the slanderous statements and to issue a public apology or legal action will be initiated to recover “compensation, costs and legal interest”.

The allegation has spawned several pictures online some of which depict Lewis in what looks like a bridal veil next to Ninjaman’s son, Spuggy. Lewis has denied the rumours that he is involved in any sort of relationship with the man.

Miss Kitty & Yanique Will Be Back This Saturday

The Divas are back!

Sources close to the popular talent search program have confirmed that both women will be back this Saturday, live on stage to continue their duties as requested by thousands of viewers who expressed how missed the ‘Divas’ are.

Miss Kitty and Yanique Barrett created quite a controversy since their mishap live on Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall where we saw the two in a heated verbal altercation over an alleged long-standing “beef”.

The two media personalities completely dominated social media since the episode was aired and was the topic on everyone’s tongue. Viewers took sides and even family members and friends disagreed on who was wrong and who should be punished for the distasteful conduct on live television.

The shows ratings allegedly took a drastic dive since the ‘divas’ were announced to be on suspension and guest judge Pamputtae & host Krystal Tomlinson were requested to act as their replacements. The fans immediately voiced their disapproval that the show was not the same without them which may have lead the sponsors to revoke their suspensions.

One good thing from all the negativity surrounding the “manufactured beef” was that both parties got to see that they are truly loved and valued by the programs thousands of weekly viewers.
